USPS to implement proof of payment verification starting August 1

Jul.10.2024

USPS will implement payment voucher verification from August 1, and overseas warehouse drop shipping may usher in changes.
In recent years, domestic overseas warehouse companies have similar quotations for express delivery of less than 1Lbs (450g) for the United States, because without exception, they have chosen USPS as the carrier.

Since the launch of TEMU semi-hosting service in May, the most common question I have received in consultations is:
"The warehouse fee is acceptable, but the delivery cost of each product is at least about 4 US dollars. How do domestic sellers who sell at 1~3 US dollars make money?"
There are many explanations for this, and the reasons vary. It may be their strategic choice or the strong strength of the company... Another existence is that they use "water-running accounts" or "technology accounts" to exploit loopholes in the rules of express delivery companies to commit fraud and profit.
In order to recover huge economic losses, USPS will implement payment voucher verification from August 1, 2024. If it is found that "water-running accounts" or "technology accounts" are used for delivery, these goods will not be delivered and the shipper will not receive compensation.
This move by USPS will have a certain impact on some non-compliant overseas warehouse companies and user groups.
